Baadii is housed in a former primary school building, which in 2019, was transformed into a community arts space. Baadii has four main galleries which also double up as working studios. With more than 500 running metres of wall space for exhibitions, the gallery hosts an extensive exhibition program with visual and performing arts projects every year. The foyer gallery exhibits works from the permanent collection, majorly comprising of works by artists from around the villages. Open to all, the space also welcomes all artists and practitioners from outside, who wish to create and exhibit works in a rural setting. Working in close connection with the government school, panchayat and other local bodies, Baadii has appropriate access and logistical support regarding all necessary resources available around the area. The space is open all round the year, except monsoons that last from July to early September.
